The Huntington Pacific Condos are the only homes in the entire city of Huntington Beach that were allowed to be built on the sand. The three level complex was built in 1967. Being so close to the water allows most of the 106 condo units to have some type of close up view. The ocean front units have white water views and pier views. Additionally, side units and some rear units have coastline, street and water views.
Some of the cool amenities The Huntington Pacific offers are a private beach area with fire rings and picnic tables. This is an excellent area for hosting family outings. Additionally, the well kept oceanfront swimming pool and clubhouse are great areas to entertain. Some of The Huntington Pacific Condos, Huntington Beach units have individual laundry hook ups. Consequently, others do not but have the option of using a community laundry room located on the 3rd floor.
Huntington Pacific condos are completely gated and monitored by security 7 days a week. Residents use remote controls to enter the complex by automobile. Residents wishing to come and go by foot require a passkey. Parking is secured and designated in three different areas throughout the complex. Covered parking is reserved by space number and for residents only. Guest parking is available with a temporary parking pass.
Floor plans consist of several different layouts. The studio suites have a full bathand approx 484 square feet. The 1 & 2 bed models come in a variety of layouts with approx 700 and 968 sq ft. Finally, the largest condo is a 3 bed, 2 bath with approx 1,452 sq ft. Additionally, some units have outdoor decks for entertaining and sunbathing. Above all, they are clean and well maintained.
The Huntington Pacific Condos are located at 711 Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach, CA 92648. As a result, they are on the ocean side of the street. The location feels like a vacation destination. So a great feature with living here is that you don’t need to use your car. Restaurants, shopping and water activities are within walking distance. In addition, the boardwalk, Pacific City and the weekly farmers market are all within walking distance.

Huntington Pacific Condo Prices
Here are two of the most recent sales. The first, a 1 bed, 1 bath with 484 sq ft. It was a single level with ocean views. This sold for $750,000. Next, a very rare 3 bed, 2 bath with 1,452 sq ft and forever ocean views situated in a premium location within the complex. This sold for $1,616,000. These condos are a perfect example of “you get what you pay for.” Even though the units are on the sand, the ocean front facing units demand higher sales prices.
Pros and Cons
Pros – These condos are located on the sand. Therefore, this makes them desirable and unique to the city of Huntington Beach.
Cons – The parking is limited.
