The Waterfront Huntington Beach – Community Features
If you’re in search of a conveniently located and luxurious Huntington Beach townhome and condo community that is walking distance to the beach then Sea Colony at the Waterfront and Sea Cove at the Waterfront is just the community you’ve been searching for. With great resort-like amenities, lush landscaping and spacious homes this development is a true must-see.
Townhomes and condos in “The Waterfront” community boast the best in grandiose beach living. The community has two entrances/exits. Both of which require a passcode or remote control to enter. There are a total of 184 townhomes and condos in this gated community. Built in 2005, most of the homes were designed with Spanish architectural features including rounded windows and doorways, stucco exterior in modern hues and also Spanish clay tile roofing.
The landscaping in this community is lush and tropical with mature palm trees and shrubbery giving the development the true feel of an island resort. Additionally, on-site amenities include a lagoon style pool, BBQ area, spa, and large cabana.
There is a Pedestrian Bridge nearby The Waterfront which leads you over Pacific Coast Highway. It drops you into the parking lot area which is connected to the beach, boardwalk and sand.
The HOA does allow pets. So this is a pet friendly community!
Townhome and Condo Details
The Waterfront Huntington Beach- Sea Colony Townhomes are grand in their design alone. Most floor plans have 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths with a den or office space. The largest is the 4 bed, 3.5 bath plan complete with a 3 car garage and 3,387 square feet. The homes range in size from about 2,961-3,387 square feet.
Features include an open floor plan with large open spaces, gourmet kitchen with large island overlooking the living area as though designed just for entertaining. Also, a fireplace, formal dining area, private courtyard, master bedroom featuring walk-in closet and luxurious en-suite bath, and interior laundry. The upstairs den area has a walk-in closet and could easily be converted to a 4th bedroom as it already is in some units. Homes have either a 2 or 3 car attached garage. Additional features include the finest modern granite countertops, luxurious tile and hardwood flooring, central vacuum in some upgraded units, and spa-like bathroom fixtures. The Sea Colony townhomes were built and designed by Christopher Homes.
The Waterfront Huntington Beach- Sea Cove Condos are also very spacious in design and layout. The layouts are either 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths or 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths with square footage ranging from about 1,620-2,690. These condos are two level and three level. Amenities include arched doorways, high ceilings, master bedroom retreats, offices, laundry rooms, recessed lighting and 2 car garages with direct access. The Sea Cove condos were designed by William Lyon Homes and also built in 2005.
The Waterfront Townhomes & Condos – Prices
Townhomes and condos in this upscale community currently range in price from the $1,100,000’s to the upper $2,275,000’s.
If you are interested in leasing, homes are available for between $3,995-$6,500 monthly.

Sea Colony at the Waterfront and Sea Cove at the Waterfront is located in a posh area of Huntington Beach which is directly behind the Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa. The development is located within a short distance of the beach. The Huntington Beach pier, Pacific City, and also downtown Huntington Beach with premiere dining, shopping and nightlife are nearby.

The Waterfront – Pros and Cons
Pros – The feel of the community is like no other in Huntington Beach. It’s got a great vibe. The best feature is that you feel like you are on a permanent vacation! Large floor plans. Garages. Gated community.
Cons – Freeway takes 10-15 minutes to access. Do not have big yard areas.
